Jute Manufacturers Development

Jute has garnered significant attention in recent times due to heightened awareness regarding the adverse impacts of plastic usage on the environment. Recognized as an eco-friendly alternative, jute can effectively mitigate these detrimental effects. India, being the world's largest producer of jute, holds a paramount position to capitalize on the potential benefits of the jute industry. The expansion of jute cultivation and the manufacturing of Jute Diversified Products (JDPs) not only promise environmental sustainability but also offer livelihood opportunities for rural communities. With this objective in mind, the Government of India launched the Jute Integrated Development Scheme (JIDS).
